iPhone 13 Display leaks
Apple will keep the same display sizes as the iPhone 12 and Apple will adopt a 120Hz refresh rate for the 6.1 inch iPhone 13 Pro and 6.7 inch iPhone 13 Pro Max. This will allow for a smoother gaming experience and minimize input lag. A higher refresh rate (120Hz) means more images are shown in the same amount of time, which means any movement between each frame seems smoother. Because there are more frames, it reduces the gap between individual frames.

A newest leak is iPhone 13 will have an LTPO panel, An LTPO is essentially a display hardware that enables variable refresh rate in order to save battery. LTPO stands for (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide). Brands like Samsung and OnePlus have worked on their own display tech that imitates an LTPO.

Other leaks tip the iPhone 13 to use an Always-on display. An always-on display would finally give Apple's iPhones a feature that Android phones have had for some time. Always On Display (AOD) is a smartphone feature that shows limited information while the phone is asleep. It is widely available on Android handsets. On some Android phones, the feature is called Ambient Display or Active Display depending on its implementation and behavior.
